Donation barrels have been delivered for the annual toy and necessity drive organized by Legacy Bank and Trust and the Mountain Grove Lions Club. The barrels can be found at the following business locations: Arvest Bank, Community First National Bank, Dollar General, First Home Bank, Legacy Bank and Trust, Malisha’s Sunflowers to Spurs, Progressive Ozark Bank, Richards Brothers Supermarket, Salon 31, Service Plus, Southern Missouri Investment, State Farm Insurance, Wehr Ford, Wright County Crisis Center.

The barrels will be in place throughout the holiday season, and all donations go to Wright County Children’s Home.

While everything is needed from toys to pajama bottoms and toiletries to food, any and all donations will be appreciated. A complete list can be found on the Wright County Children’s Home website:

Mountain Grove Lions joined in with Legacy Bank last year to help in the donation drive. Teresa Stout and the people at Legacy Bank have been putting out a donation box for several years. They began by deciding that instead of buying gifts for each other they buy gloves, hats, and toys for the children at Wright County Children’s Home.
