On Wednesday, at approximately 1:30 a.m., Wright County Deputy McCleary was dispatched to Norwood for shots fired. While in Norwood, Deputy McCleary observed a vehicle which he believed might have been involved in the incident on S. Eagle Ave.

Deputy McCleary attempted to stop the vehicle and a pursuit began westbound on old Hwy. 60. The pursuit continued westbound onto Hwy. A at Macomb. The driver tried to turn around in a driveway and lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle spun around and the driver tried to leave and hit Deputy McCleary’s patrol car causing minor damage.

The Sheriff’s office indicated that McCleary took the driver, who was identified as Bradley Henry, Mansfield,  into custody. Henry was reported to have been charged with Second Degree Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer,  Resisting Arrest and will be summoned for several traffic violations. Bond was set at $50,000 cash.

Henry is incarcerated in the Wright County Jail.
