The Missouri Highway Patrol reported that an accident on Sunday evening on Rt. Y, one mile east of Hartville, resulted in serious injuries to a Norwood woman.

The Patrol reported that a northbound 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse driven by April A. Dillard, 47, Norwood, travelled across the center line and struck a 1999 Chevrolet truck driven by Dacota W. Glenn, 19, Mansfield.

The Mitsubishi then travelled off the west side of the roadway and struck a fence and overturned, the Patrol indicated.

Dillard was transported by Mercy air ambulance to Cox South Hospital, Springfield, with serious injuries.

The Patrol also reported an accident on Monday resulted in moderate injuries to an Ava woman. The accident occurred on Rt. B, five miles south of Mansfield.

The Patrol reported that a 2007 Toyota Corola driven by Pamela L. Misner, 55, Ava, travelled off the roadway and into a ditch.

Misner was transported by ambulance to Mercy Hospital in Springfield with moderate injuries.

The Patrol reported that a Mountain Grove man received moderate injuries when his 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee failed to negotiate a curve, travelled off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree on February 12 on Hwy. AD, 10 miles south of Mountain Grove.

The Patrol reported that John R. Barron, 69, Mtn. Grove, the driver of the vehicle, received moderate injuries and was transported by ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital.

The Mountain Grove Police Department reported that an apparent medical condition resulted in a Mtn. View man losing control of his car and striking the Curtis Department Store on North Main Street.

The police department indicated that the accident occurred on Sunday morning when the car driven northbound by Bryan W. Apple, 34, Mtn. View, left the roadway on the left side and came back on the roadway and went through the Curtis Department Store parking lot on the east side of the roadway striking the building.
